Oh hello there, it’s been a hot minute and a Euro jaunt between chats. I’ve got so much to share but I fear there will need to be many moving parts and newsletters to my travel story. To answer the topline questions I’ve received since I got back:
Yes, the trip was everything I’d hoped and planned for over the previous 12 months.
Yes, my suitcase was just what I needed in small hotel rooms (shop with my discount HERE)

Yes, there was distribution of items between my suitcase and my husband’s suitcase.
Yes, I wore EVERYTHING I packed, including the puffer jacket and trail shoes.
Yes, Europe is expensive. The Aussie dollar does not go very far. Everything from a coffee to a cocktail or some cheese from the supermarket has a number on it the same as we’d pay here. Except double that number on the exchange rate!
Yes, that didn’t stop me from going shopping!

I love all your packing tips Nikki - even if I'm not going anywhere right now I know I can reference them in the future. I agree about having a change of clothes in your carry on and would add if you are going somewhere warm, pop your bathers in there too and a change of underwear. I have been caught out once with a missed flight that saw my luggage arrive in Florida without me. At least if you can get through 24-48 hours without super stressing that is a good back up plan. I do like the look of the Malone slides ! I might have to pop into a store ?
