What I packed and wore on Hamilton Island

When I scheduled surgery for late July, I had this vision of emerging all shiny and new come September. And while the extended fatigue that comes with major surgery is still around and will be for another couple of months, this month has been about embracing a lot of what I couldn’t do during recovery.
The absolute highlight was having all my family back together for one night after more than two years. I think this photos says it all.
And to top off my month of emerging into the real world, we had the most chilled and fun long weekend on Hamilton Island celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary. I’ve written and compiled a post on my blog. Save it if you’re thinking of travelling to the island anytime soon. You can read it HERE.
