So sad to hear about your sister in law. What a journey. Good to reflect back on the year especially when you are surrounded by challenges. Makes you really take stock about achievements too. The never ending mystery of life
You certainly packed a lot into 2024, while dealing with some health challenges, and were open and brave enough to take us along for the ride. I almost always learn something new from your posts and feel encouraged to venture out of my (well-worn) lane. I was very happy to see you receive some well-deserved recognition too.
You continue to provide an invaluable service to your readers by encouraging us to express ourselves through clothes irrespective of body size and shape, and to get out of our heads, into swimwear and into the water. You have my admiration and thanks, x
Oh Nikki, what wise words from your brother. My heart goes out to you all as we enter a new year, come what may. Thank you for sharing bits of your life here (I’ve been reading and following along since the Nina days.) Love and strength to you all in 2025 xx
Oh Nikki, my heart is with you, your family and particularly your brother and sister-in-law.
You’ve had a wow of a year in some regards! All those trips! I’m still using the pillow you recommended way back in January, and it comes on holidays with me. My year was a bit more home-oriented, lurking in the background supporting the HSC kid without being too inquisitive or intrusive. They play their cards close, and they had a fabulous year at school, so we must do somethings right.
I am almost inspired to take up lap swimming after seeing that fab photo of you and your Darling. You are right, you do look very rugged up in a Star Wars-esque manner!

Absolutely Linda. It’s so important to do. And thanks for your kind words x

Here’s to a smooth start to the New Year!
Thank you Mary and I love my pillow so much! My husband has one now. Totally understand the HSC background support - I’m so glad you both got through!
